Isabella is a 22 year old mother to her one and a half year old son, Harlow, and another little boy due in October. She and her son(s) are tribal members of the San Luis Rey band of Luiseño/Payómkawichum Indians of Oceanside, California.She currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her children, her husband Matt, and their dog Lila. Isabella recently graduated with her associates degree (with plans to pursue further education in the future) and is a photographer and illustrator. She loves restoring old furniture, supporting small businesses, photographing other native + POC mothers, and spending time with her family. She has been a lifelong reader and writer, actively writing fictional stories from a young age; after graduating, she decided to begin writing a blog, and here we are!
